will
valia statusas T sritis švietimas apibrėžtis Gebėjimas siekti tikslo įveikiant vidines kliūtis. Šio siekimo tikslas yra aukščiausias motyvas, kurį palaiko žemesnio lygio pažintiniai ir emociniai motyvai. Tikslas lemia vidinį intelektinį veiklos planą, kuris numato veiklos rezultatus, telkia vidines jėgas, motyvus, kurie reguliuoja veiksmus. Jei atsiranda prieštaravimų, vidinių sunkumų siekiant tikslo, vidinis intelektinis siekimų planas nuslopina poreikius, emocijas, kliudančias pasiekti tikslą. Įveikiant sunkumus, stiprėja valia, todėl mokykloje stengiamasi ugdyti valinguosius charakterio bruožus: drąsą, ryžtą, atkaklumą, iniciatyvą, ištvermę. atitikmenys: angl. will vok. Wille rus. воля
